It might help to know what you are trying to accomplish. Is it to protect the kids or some other reason?

    Filtering Software

    Good point-

I'm looking for a product like CyberPatrol that will keep kids off inappropriate sites (primarily pornography) and/or be able to set limits on the times in which they can get online.

You can probably accomplish what you want free using a combination of OpenDNS to filter porn and the built in Parental Controls of OSX to limit times(in System Preferences). You can also use Parental Controls to "whitelist" only certain sites.

If the little buggers are smart enough they can likely get around OpenDNS filtering.
