OK, so I enabled internet sharing on my Mac (Share Airport to built-in ethernet). Got an ethernet cable, connected my xbox to my Mac... But my Xbox won't connect...

Did I do something wrong? How do I get this to work? I want to be able to move my xbox from room to room...

    BTW, I have DSL

    Thanks.

Do the following and give it a go:

    CHange your IP to: 192.168.2.2
    Change Gateway to: 192.168.2.1

And configure your DNS correctly (this is different from computer to computer)

Then give it a go, should work...

the way i did it was i used the ethernet cable to connect my xbox to my router

if your router is too far away you'll have to invest in a wireless adapter

He should just be able to connect the XBOX to his mac and go from there.
