iOS 7.0.1 (anyone kno the difference?)

    I was reading online that there is an OTA update of 17mb and an iTunes version of 1.3gb.....

    Anybody kno the difference? And why?

    7.0.1 fixes bugs in the fingerprint scanner. Only for the 5s and curiously the 5c. The iTunes update is a standard release coinciding with iOS 7 allowing full compatibility (it also closes the ability to use custom IPSWs to restore iDevices but that's a whole other issue.)

    But why is the OTA update 17mb and it's 1.3gb connected to iTunes?

    OTA you only get the changes. iTunes downloads the entire system so you can do a restore.

    OTA is a delta update, and it only downloads what has changed. iTunes downloads the entire software, which is a much bigger file.

    After the update it turned my bluetooth and airdrop on.

    when you click on the OTA update, it will tell you what the changes/updates are usually for.
