HSBC debit card. Managed to add it to watch via watch app. But not to my phone. Better than nothing I guess…
Just added my First Direct card (which is the card linked to my iTunes account) - worked flawlessly.
Finally got my First Direct debit card on, I'm now waiting for them to send me the verification code.
Phone them up and ask to speak to the Apple Pay team
They have advisors from Apple in their call center talking them through the process.
I was able to add my HSBC debit card first time round without hassle. Having tried multiple times to add it to my watch it still isn't working. I've just tried again several times with the same message to contact card issuer. I can't contact them as I'm overseas. It makes no sense that I was able to add it to my phone but not my watch. After the two delay this just takes the biscuit. They better get it sorted soon.
Take something off and run it through separatelySince my first use in Costa failed I've had 100% success since with my Natwest debit. Was mildly irritated our quick shop in Waitrose came to £21 today

Can't quite understand everyones frustration and impatience though, as it's not like Apple or HSBC have taken something away. Just continue to use the plastic until it's up and running

Just keep getting Verification Not Available on my FD debit card. Rebooted phone to no avail. Server overloaded maybe?
