Hi, This question could be out of left field. I have the opportunity to buy one of these gadgets. Obviously, both have different advantages. I would like to know what you guys think about it.

Could you share your thoughts with me

    Thanks

Do you want a smaller phone, or a large tablet?

    Also, RD?

What will you use it for/what are your needs? Both great devices but used very differently so really hard to say in the abstract.

Like everyone else said, it just depends on what you want to use it for. But unless you desperately need an iPhone right now, I think you might as well wait until they announce the next-gen one.

iPad 4 is just a bigger iPhone 5 without the cell phone abilities.

    Disagree with this entirely..

iPad is a much more 'capable' computing device - an iPhone is just a crap phone with bells and whistles :)

You'd better show more information to us. If you want an device that you can use to make calls or send message, then just get the iPhone. If you want a better gaming or video experience, than just get the iPad.

    ----------

    Nice explanation.
