iPad Camera Connection Kit, Use the USB port for USB pen drive?

I couldnt find a similar thread on mroogle, but i'm sure there is one.
If you can point me in the direction of it good, if not then read on.

The iPad camera connection kit allows you to attatch your camera through a USB cable,

Do you think it will be possible to plug a USB memory pen into this port and have acces to the media on it?

Depends on the file structure on the drive. If it looks like a camera (DCIM folders etc) then you may well be able to import from it. But not play movies off the stick etc.

Thanks, I was just curious, as i have a 16GB USB mem stick, so i could carry round twice the amount of movies/pics etc easily if it could

Well, at the moment this is all speculation, but the device is about import: not use direct off the camera...
