Just posted in the 'which iPad to buy' thread and in my reply I said I reckoned that most people who have bought an iPad already own an iPhone. Just a quick poll to see if I'm right! Obviously a forum full of Apple fans isn't the most objective place to ask this question, but I'm sure it'll be interesting nonetheless.:apple:

Nope. The only Apple products I owned before the iPad are a 30G iPod and an iPod Shuffle for the wife. I hadnt even considered an iPad until a few days before they went on sale in the US.

Had it for two days and am loving it!

I own an iPhone 3GS and an iPad, but no other Apple products. I think they make great consumer electronics, but poor computers.

Nope. Had an old school 30 gig iPod that broke down after 3 years and that was my first and only apple product (till now). I'm on verizon so I have a droid myself and use that for music even though it's not THAT great for that function. My 3rd computer in 4 years is on it's last legs (god they make pc's horrid now-a-days) though so I'm probably getting a MacBook pro by the end of summer or at least by the time it's dead.

Dropped my iPhone in the sink, so I had to answer no in the poll. Really sucks!

Tried the iphone but AT&T's service was SOOOOOOOO bad (So Ca and central Az.) that I returned the phone before the 30 day trial period.

Nope. I have a basic pay as you go mobile phone that costs me about $120 per year. Though it is cool, I never could justify the total cost of ownership of an iPhone ... and I don't like getting locked into contracts.

I got the iPad because of it's no contract 3G plan.

Nope. I hardly ever use my cell phone, so I just have a cheapo one. I've never had an iPod either, so this is all totally new for me! :D (My desktop and laptop computers have always been Macs, though.)
