Man, I hated that wallpaper. I kept thinking my screen was scratched because of those shooting stars...

They're not shooting stars. The streaks are caused by a combination of a long exposure time and the rotation of the Earth. As the camera's shutter stays open, the stars "move" across the sky, causing the streaks. It's quite beautiful, actually.

Nope you can only set for the lock screen and the home screen.

It's a long night exposure where the moon is lighting up the mountains in the distance. I shot it on an 8x10 camera, so the quality is really beautiful and you can see star trails going through the sky.

Those are scratches on the iPad screen, dude.

Snow Leopard's background looks really nice on the iPad. Its almost like having the real thing! The leather Apple logo one looks really nice on the lock screen, especially if you have it in a black folio case. I've also attached the wallpapers for you guys at native 1024x1024. This keeps the backgrounds for slightly blurry / becoming pixelated at 768 across 1024 when you rotate the device. Time to go to typography class! *sigh*

I've just made some iPad wallpapers, thought id share.

I'v just made some iPad wallpapers and I thought I would share them with everyone. I've based these to be on the home screen more than the lock screen, that's why they are all quite simple. (I think a cluttered image makes your home screen look messy, unlike the lock screen).

I would be super grateful if someone could take some screenshots of what these look like on the home screen too, as I'm from the UK I don't have a iPad yet.
