iPhone SDK 3.1 beta and iPhone OS 3.1 beta are now posted to the iPhone Dev Center. These versions are for development and testing only and should be installed on devices dedicated to iPhone OS 3.1 beta software development. Please read the iPhone OS Pre-Install Advisory and the iPhone SDK 3.1 beta release notes before downloading and installing.

Yeah. Maybe they 'fix' the dialer so its half the size and the top area brings up names as you punch numbers!

Downloading it... I wish they'd post release notes or something. I'd like to know what changes there are before I install it.

    Wirelessly posted (iPod touch 32GB: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

They could actually change the colour temperature through a firmware update: I believe they've done it in the past.
What they should really do is let people change it themselves through settings. That would eliminate all the problems ;)

Don't install 3.1 if you ever want to be able to jailbreak.

Why don't you test it out on your old iPhone?

That is if you ever want to.. hack it or anything..

Deciding whether I should install it right away or not. 3.0 is so bug free for an x.0 release.

Maybe I'll install it on my iPod touch first.
