iPhone 3GS Is Indeed Seeing Red

    This is just feeding the trolls. If you personally have a red tint on your iPhone contact Apple and get a replacement. If you don't, just ignore those reports unless they can prove that this problem is actually widespread and therefore a flaw in the design of the phone, and by widespread I mean 10.000 people or more. We have 2+ million iPhone 3GS in the wild now, and a couple of % of these will be lemons. That's normal for electronics. Apple knows, every manufacturer knows, and they're prepared to replace it for you. No need to freak out.

    Why can't apple just test the freaking thing under heavy usage? How hard is that? :confused:

    They do, but it's impossible to catch every single problem. That's why device manufacturers offer warranties.

    It might just be someone's cheap case rubbing off on the back of the phone. This is why everyone should have bought black in the first place! :apple:

    Perhaps Apple should take a cue from Microsoft and refer to the color change as a design feature and charge more! :D
