iPhone 4 brightness not stable anyone?

I am recently updated the OS to 4.0.1 and I experience that the brightness on my phone while I am using it sometimes it switches to be brighter.

I swear I am not crazy I can see when it switches to a bit brighter than normal. I saw this couple times already.

mines does the opposite. mines doesn't change at all. Anyways, it usually changes due to the brightness of where you are. If you are outside in the open, then it will get brighter if you have auto brightness turned on.

I sit at the same spot when it happens though.
