I am just wanting to get a general feel as to what your battery life is. Type it in here, post screenshots, share tips/tricks to improve battery life, etc.!

Generally most of the smartphones still have problems as far as the battery is concerned, that's i think the only bad thing with smartphones especially iphones.

The battery in my 6+ lasts all day long for me, except for the days where I have the heaviest usage.

I do some heavy texting, calling as well as email, web surfing and listening to music. Occasionally a short video. I can usually get a day and a half.

Seems like a rather generic post to dig up a thread that is about 9 months old and didn't really have much in it to begin with.

Battery life is great. I've not turned anything off! The only thing I don't do in comparison to your average person is social media crap!

I do have an apple watch paired and I do listen to iTunes Match for 6 hours a day

It's good for one day, and around 10 hours of real use. Same battery life on my wife's 6+ as well.

P.S. Both 6+ are on 8.4 latest beta.

I was getting anywhere between 10-15 hours per charge on iOS 8.4 beta (I've since installed iOS 9 beta and bye-bye battery life). But I was so impressed with the 6Plus battery! It really is a huge leap over the 6.

The battery on the 6+ is a non-issue for me and I would assume most others. Even with a heavy day I never come back home with less than 40%. I do not play games or watch movies, way too busy for that.

My iPhone 6 Plus battery life is amazing. I can use my phone all day and not have to worry charging it. This has not been my experience with former iPhones, especially the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 5 had better battery life, but it doesn't even come close to the iPhone 6 Plus.

Great battery life, with heavy usage last full day and still have over 30% left.

If I stay indoors the majority of the time, I can squeeze something like 12-14 hours of browsing, texting, calling, and watching videos. I have auto brightness(indoors it makes screen around 30-50% bright), location services, and background app refresh on. Bluetooth is off. Outdoors, maybe something like 8 hours because I keep brightness at 100% or around that.

I usually just charge the phone before I sleep, unless the battery is over 90%, so I don't really care how long it lasts. I did care for a few weeks when I first got the phone (as it is customary for me with new phones) but after getting a sense of the battery life, I let it go.

Battery life has slowly gone down the tubes for me. Had 3 hours of usage earlier today, 39% left. Back to charging during the day. When I just got my 6 plus I went a full day without charging. Those days are long gone

The battery is absolutely amazing. I never saw "1 day" standby times along with high usage times on an iPhone before the 6 Plus.

Define your 5-6 hours on heavy usage. Playing games or even just keeping the screen activated for 5-6 hours at a time will hurt even the 6+.

By heavy usage, I mean basic tasks but with brightness up to 90-100%...so some safari browsing, YouTube videos etc. I don't play games on my phone. Even with these basic tasks I only get about 5 hours of usage. Ibackupbot says I have 3000mah so I guess battery is not defective

5-6 hours at 90-100% brightness is not normal use and you should expect less than what Apple advertises.
