My iPhone's charging cord has started to tear at the USB plug. Trying to figure out a clean way to repair it, and would like to use shrink wrap but it's impossible with plugs on both ends of the cord. Is there any other way to repair the cord without using electrical tape? Considering this cord isn't even a year and half old, I am surprised it is tearing already. I have never had any electrical device cord tear on me before. Is this the norm for Apple products?
