    There isn't much new in the article except this:

    I guess New Zealand has a different decimal system from the U.S.

    Nope, we use the same value for billion as the US (thousand million). The blogger for that story is a notorious idiot over here.

    Prrrrrrrrrretty sure he was joking about the decimal. We all know USA is the weird one when it comes to mathematics.

    Nah, we use the same decimal system as everyone else. It should have said 800 million downloads.

    800 million ...

    Nah, it's just my decimal system. My numeracy (innumeracy?) is more like '1-2-3 a lot'. Sorry!
