I'm not sure how serious of a problem this is but it could mean bigger issue to come. I found that when I press sleep and the home button, the screen to do a regular power off does not come up. Pressing it long enough will just turn the phone off with a hard reset.

Again, not a serious problem but is something anyone else is seeing with their iPhone5 or it could be an iOS6 problem more specifically?

You don't hold both buttons to power off. Just push and hold the power button. (don't touch the home button)

Downgrade from iOS6 back to great iOS5.1.1

iOS6 has too many issues. The best is to downgrade from iOS6 back to great iOS5.1.1 for a smooth run.
