    connect to digital cameras

I just hope this software is able to connect to digital cameras as well as iTunes connects to mp3 Players. My Nomad mp3 player cme with some farely weak software, but connects great with iTunes. My Agfa digital camera come with AWFUL software (it woun't hotswap) , so hopefully Apple can rescue me and get another great peiceof software out.

    there is an opening

There is a definite opening for some good picture software here. Almost all existing scanner and digital camera software is terrible. If Apple were to allow people to hook up these devices via a very well-designed and easy to use program, Apple could have another hit on their hands (like iTunes). Indeed, if Apple went one step further and made it possible to load these pictures you got from a scanner or digital camera onto a website (such as an apple.com homepage) or email the picture to someone directly from the program, Apple would have a serious app on their hands.

If this is going to edit graphics too, that will be cool. Along with a pro version that could be used for photoshop until adobe gets photoshop carbonized. Maybe even an iSite website editor for html, css, etc.
