I've been having trouble for the last couple of days with my Ipod refusing ( it's resolute like that) to hold a charge.
(details, charging with cable, plugged right into wall while playing & charging through docking station have both proved unsuccessful)

And so I thought maybe it needed a visit to the updater, or even just a quick chat with Itunes, but now it is disconnecting itself from Itunes within seconds of begining the interface, making any updating unlikely.

I've gotto drive to Dallas tomorrow & if I can't finish listening to Beiing A green Mother, I will be very sad...

Do you have iPod Software Updater running when you plug the iPod in? Does it disconnect because of a lack of power? Can you try another cable to charge it with? :)
