Does the special edu discount work for the nano you know 180 dollars back on any ipod? I've been putting off buying an iPod for years but the nano is perfect small but looks good (really kinda hated the mini's funky but not sexy like the ipod)

No, if they do another promotion later, probably, but it won't be for this one. The iPod promo was pretty much designed to liquidate the iPod mini.
