iPod iPod Mini Box

When you buy an iPod Mini from the Apple online store, do you get the same white retail box as in store or does it come in a plain brown carton box? Thanks,

Don't know about the Mini but I know that the regular iPods come in the normal box... I don't see why they wouldn't come in the normal box?

Isn't the brown box used for refurbished items?

same thing. I ordered my Ipod mini from apple online and got the nice package. which sits nicely in my closet

Should rephrase. Do you cue the barcode out from the nice pretty white obx or from the brown box it comes in?

you know....i'm looking at the white box, and the cardboard box right now, both have a sticker on them with the actual UPC code and serial # and part # on them, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to cut the brown box and send them that with all the layers like the rebate says.
