iPod Ipod Nano 5th Gen - Weird Problems - Not working and Frozen

I have an Ipod nano 5th gen its 6 months old and all of a sudden its not responding in the "Music" menu! so when I click "cover flow" nothing happens or it take 15 seconds and finally opens it


Now some of the Album art on cover flow has been deleted and as of right now my ipod has frozen and will not respond to anything

Please help!!!!

I think I'm gonna call customer service! but I'm unsure what they can do if i bought it from Amazon UK! who do I take it to??

update ---battery has gone flat and now recharging

turned it on and it seems to be working normally

cover flow art is back and menu is working
