iPod iPod Nano died after 2 days

I got a 2Gig nano two days ago, and everything worked fine. I get back from work today, pull it out of my shirt pocket, to find that it is dead. It is as if the hold button is down, but it is not. The screen is dead, I put headphones in and I get no sound, and I plugged it in to my computer, and nothing there either. Any ideas on if this is a fixable problem? I imagine not. Is there any chance the store I bought it from would exchange it, and if not, will Apple replace it?

If that doesn't work it'll probably need to be replaced. Not sure what the returns process would be, depends on the store. If it has to go back to Apple they were pretty quick in my experience.

Ok, the reset seemed to work. That was strange, I have never had this problem with an ipod before. Glad to see there was a workaround that didn't involve me fighting for an hour over wether or not I dropped it.
