i hope this helps. i just joined the mac crowd and bought a new mac desk top the 25"(?) scren. any way i pluged my windows based ipod (older ipod photo) to put new pictures in it. any way i was scared but i followed directions, for once, and clicked the photo tab clicked the sync tab closeed my eyes and went for it, to my horror it started to delete my pictures, but i had everything backed up on an external hard drive clicked on it picked my picyure folders and well my ipod is getting filled up with pictures as we speak. i hope this helps other noob's out there, i have to tell u i really love this new MAC
