iPod Ipod Problem

Hi,

I have a IPOD 30gig 5th Gen and when I plug the itrip in to the ipod it doesnt fit properly it basicly slants and when the itrip is on it sometimes looses connection. Any ideas on how to repair this problem? I have attached a photo.
