    User Interface

Well, now, wait a minute. This is the user interface "Creative" is holding a patent for? Something most be wrong here... :)))

Still, glad to see that once in a while an analyst is capable of concentrating on real-world and relevant facts and comes up with feasible conclusions... unfortunately there is still a myriad of others making up their own rumors based on zero facts - even predicting products not even SJ would be thrilled about - and then subsequently base investor advise on their own lunacy.

My 2G 20GB iPod still kicks the crap out of all the new rival MP3 players in terms of ease of use and GUI intuitiveness. My battery life has gone down to 6 hours, but I don't care! I'll use it as a portable stereo or hard drive in the event of total battery failure.

You can get one of those replacement batteries for pretty cheap. A lot of them last even longer than Apple's. But then, I guess you wouldn't have an excuse to buy a new one. ;)

I would have bought the Creative Vision M instead of my brand new shining, but scratched iPod if it had only been thinner. That is the only thing I have against it. I mean at twice the thickness you are just asking for a beat down. The GUI is just slightly nicer on the Creative and the screen once again slightly nicer, the battery slightly nicer, the design is alright..... but the thickness....this is one obese puppy.
