So during a failed attempt to jailbreak an iPod Touch running 1.1.5 using ziphone, my friend decided to stick with the regular firmware. So during the restore, the iPod screen flashes white when the iTunes is preparing the iPod to go into restore mode and the iPod shuts off, and leaves iTunes hanging. iTunes later pops up an error message (can't remember which) The iPod when he bought it was working fine, until the ziphone incident. When he used that, he noticed the iPod will not stay on for more then a few seconds before turning off. Now it could be because the iPod is in DFU mode, but it refuses to turn on without it being plugged into a computer, so I'm assuming ziphone is the killer.. any idea what to do? And didn't ziphone had this huge issue of messing around with peoples iPod/iPhone?
