I purchased a 1 gb iPod Shuffle this afternoon, and I'm wondering the best way to get my Podcasts from iTunes onto it. I have the Shuffle set to "manual" update so I can drag and drop songs....Will I have to drag and drop podcasts individually, also? Or is there a way for new podcasts to go straight to my Shuffle?

What I do is I drag whatever podcasts I want to the empty shuffle then I click on auto fill and make sure the replace songs button is unchecked you'll get all your podcasts on the beginning of the ipod so you can find them and then a whole bunch of random music

Thats a good idea...but I prefer to manually move music, and have new podcasts go straight to the Shuffle. I think I've read other users have a problem with this, but can't seem to find a discussion of a workaround.
