I have the last generation of 60GB Video iPod. I recently installed iTunes 7 on it, and when I fast forward to the next song, it takes a while, almost 30 seconds until the next tune starts. I've usually been rebooting it by pressing "Menu" and the center button together. This usually fixes the problem, but only temporarily.

I've also had the iPod "crash" when I played a particular song. That song I downloaded from a free site (Limewire), so I thought it was corrupt. I trashed it and then bought the song on iTunes and it played fine.

    Anybody else have these problems.

problem, problem solved. Last time I got a song from LimeWire (several months... nearly a year ago now) it skipped a bit in the middle, like the needle skipped on a record. I bought the song from iTunes, and didn't have a problem.

iTunes does not install on your iPod. Limewire is full of corrupt files.
Do you have album art displayed on your iPod?? That slows mine down.
