iPod spotted on board Space Shuttle Endeavor

    i've seen this picture like 10,000 times. I'm gonna climb mt everest and take a picture of my iPhone.. Then that will be all over the web!

    Ironically, the ipod probably has more computing power than the original computers used in the shuttles in the 80's (pretty sure they've upgraded the original equipment in the shuttles to at least 90's tech). :)

    well the apollo spacecraft had 64kb of ram.........

    that's pretty cool. i didn't realize iPods have been to all these different places.

    I didn't expect that the iPod would be in an exterior shot! What a photo--you can even tell what generation iPod. I thought you had the wrong link--until I tried the high-res!

    It can replace the ISS as my desktop picture :)
