I've put it all back together so it looks fine. What do you think the chances are, of getting a replacement from apple? I am planning to take it into the Apple store and saying it died then wouldn't charge or respond to PC connection. Do they typically replace them at no cost? I don't mind buying a new one if I get a discount depending on how much. I know some will say it's morally wrong. Morallities aside, could this work?
