    Is anyone surprised by this? After all we have the Leader of the free world wanting to use Torture,wanting to have Secret prisons and having no accountability to anyone for what he is doing. Fine Example our President is setting for the world. :rolleyes:

    They may be murderous sons-of-bitches, but they're our murderous etc.

    Yes. Always best to lead by example. The troops involved in the abuse had, of course, been "trained" by US forces - obviously quick learners!

    They haven't been Tried ; They are assumed to be guilty.

    So much for "american Justice".

    Not all of the detainees were found on a battlefield.

    We may well find that we've saved the Iraqi people from Saddam but that we can't save them from themselves. I wonder if the Bush administration will continue to declare victory over tyranny in Iraq if the new regime proves to be just as brutal as the old one.
