Iraq war now costing $6 billion a month

    $6B a month is $72B a year. It's a lot of money but it's still not real money believe it or not - our GDP is over $10T, so its barely 0.7%. Still it could be better spent obviously. $72B would pay for a lot of teachers, doctors, college scholarships etc. And there are some kind of social programs that return 10x their cost in benefits (like afterschool programs, family planning clinics, etc). Imagine if we fully funded those. Oh well.
