Hello, I just try to upgrade Pro Mountain Lion, but the administrator password pointed out as wrong. I tried to reset, but just not possible because it needs the old password, and unfortunately i not have enabled the option to reset the Apple ID.
Appeared a window flash update hours before, I do not know if there is any connection or if it can be a really malware, because I also thought that someone could have changed my password remotely, but it is virtually impossible.
Does anyone have a recommendation of some anti virus that can do a full scan?
Another option that I thought would be to create a bootable disk and do a clean install, but do i not want to lose all my data from Mac.

    And sorry for my english.
    Thanks!

You likely just forgot your password.

There is no Mac malware that exists in the wild that would change your password or make it invalid. Your problem has nothing to do with malware.
