Not sure what you're referring to; it's looks the same as it always has for me.

The only thing that bothers me is how the banner ads overlap with the logo. I know I could remove them by contributing, but it just seems odd that they would be laid out as such. (Using mobile Safari on my iPad).

Try selecting "fixed" instead of "fluid" (bottom of the page).

The logo and overall style of the site is very flat. It would seem to me that since the site underwent an overhaul in the not too distant past that this is a conscious choice by the designer.
