    Just had a weird thought.

I was buying apples at the grocery store, and I started thinking.. this is like "supporting the team" or being patriotic towards Apple, the company I love.**

Then I realized.. I'll be eating them.

Isn't that sort of, in a way.. cannibalistic??

Hmm.. something to think about :D

** my love is being tested with the lack of Pbook updates...

    umm no?

To be a cannibal means to eat your own kind....and since we are not all apples that need not apply.

as for patriotism for apple? ummmm you need to open some windows ;)

Apples give me bad heartburn...but yes, be patriotic and go break some windows...or just pelt them with apples! :)

    hhmmm... interesting question.

it seems that the Apple logos now are either the brushed metal look, or Aqua, or plain white.

so unless you are eating brushed aluminium apples, of an aqua sort of apple, or a white painted apple, then you should be safe.

    i loves dem apples!:D

    edit>>

    don't open any windows! bugs fly through open windows! :p :D

well, if we want to go old school...Youd be hard-pressed to find a six-colored apple out of which someone had already taken a bite--mind you, just one bite...If you can find it, go ahead and eat it! But take a picture first.

Um... breaking windows were tried.. back in the 1930s... it was called Kristalnacht. Bad things happened, and it wasn't just broken windows..

Besides, you don't need to break windows. M$ Windows comes pre-broken from Microsoft. :D

Nothing against arn, but the old saying is eat an apple a day and keep the doctor away. I have enjoyed apples since childhood. My paternal grandparent had a farm. It also included an apple orchard among other orchards. My grandmother made a great apple pie. An apple is a delicious healthy snack!

ROTFL... The Mac-Kristallnacht, where the raging mob of Apple users goes from house to house and smashes every Wintel comp in sight... public burning of "XP for Dummies" books and so on... man, it would make history ;)

But alas... I have an allergy against Apples. Raw apples, that is. I have no problems with apple cake or apple juice, though.

well neither for me, it's just bad. i'm allergic to something in apples, the more green the worse... so it gives me tummy troubles. but i used to love yellow delicious :) i think since apple was named after the fruit, debatably, it's homage...

Well, everywhere I've seen the Apple is the McIntosh and the computer is the Macintosh. :) I like Fujis, myself.

I always assumed the company was named Apple since Steve used to enjoy picking apples at an orchid when he was younger.

    PICKING...not...EATING...

Steve used to pick apples in the orchards of what now is Silicon Valley. Then he used to carry those Apples home and place them in his Oh Holy Apple Shrine.

Jeez. Why can't anyone keep his Apple/Steve Jobs history straight these days! :D
