I just got a new imac 20in and I am wondering is installing Boot Camp will do damage to it? I keep seeing a lot of problems with installing Windows. I have an HP laptop. Do problems usually happen when you install Windows?

Do you need windows? If you do, install it. If you don't, leave it.

You will not physically damage your computer but there is a chance you it can cause problems. Nothing really to worry about though if you know what you are doing.

As halfprep said, install it if you need it. If you don't.....eh, leave well enough alone. If you *really* want to check out Windows on your Mac, you also might want to consider Parallels which does not require you to boot into Windows.
