Is it true?

    That Safari doesn't allow styling of form elements such as select? I found some tests on the web and, apparently, you can't change the color of the options on a select element. Is there something that can be done about it? thx

    In the current versions of safari you can't change certain elements about these items. However, it seems that future versions of safari will have more capability in this area -

    I'm still waiting for complete cross-browser form element styling. I actually don't like that Safari uses Apple's own widgets for buttons and things (though I do like <input type="search" />).
