is the ipod nano 4th gen. strong enough?

    I bought recently an ipod nano 4th gen and i want to know. it get's scratched? (not the screen, but the colored part)
    I want to know so to check if i buy a case or not

    I know the screen is very well protected, i want to know if the color part of the ipod, the body scratches easely

    Ah, forgive. Its body is anodized aluminum which is very scratch resistant. Whatever the material though, if you want to be 100% sure you're never going to get a scratch on it, buy some kind of protection for it.

    My 4 year old iPod mini's got the same case and it's held up very well. It doesn't have scratches, it has dents/chips from being dropped but not scratches.

    If you're not clumsy I'd say you're fine without a case.
