Is the USB hub on Apples USB keyboard 2.0? Will devices connected to the usb ports on the back of the keyboard work at 2.0 speed?

It's the white USB one. Bought in 2005.

I've got no idea, but it would be nice if it worked with something useful.

    They're USB 1.1 and they're underpowered.

    I'd go for that one.

Well it should run without the second cord plugged in. You just won't get any power.

Yes, the Apple keyboard USB ports are seriously wimpy with the power, even some SD card readers won't work.

I have noticed this at my school. We have PM G4 MDD systems and on most of them the USB in the keyboard works for my flash drive but a few of them just give me a low power warning. Go figure. Then I just plug into the back of the screen.
