Is there an app to lock other private apps i.e. Address Book
Don't see it anywhere. The only "iProtect" is some investment app.
you need to JB just to pw protect an app? That sucks.
Well it is a personal device. It's not like it's a shared computer where lots of different people frequent it. You can passcode lock your iPhone.
Sounds like someone is cheating on their girl haha.
Unfortunately, Apple doesn't allow apps that control other apps.
If you don't want to jailbreak there is no way to password protect individual apps.
This is a potential workaround: http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20100719201209193
You can hide icons without jailbreaking but still access them through Spotlight. Not perfect but if you just want to prevent people from casually scrolling through your email, contacts, whatever it might be a deterrent.
