I have the opportunity to buy a G4 powerbook titanium with following specs:

1 Ghz Processor
15" screen
superdrive
512 MB SDRAM
Mac OS 10.4
60GB HD
Airport​

but also there's some damage, one of the hinges is kind of busted and there's a dent in the case.

is this worth 200$?

I'm just buying to last me till the montevino update because I really need a notebook atm.

Yes. A new Ti hinge is like $40 on eBay. Many 667 (DVI)s still go for $300+.

For $200 that is a heck of a steal. I would definitely jump on this deal if you're looking for something for the time being. I would even buy this to resale for a profit if I didn't need it.

That's not just a deal, it's a steal. A 1GHz G4 for that price is a good find.
