    Considering a 160GB harddrive from Lacie cost $179 retail, I would say yes.

    It's USB, so you can't *BOOT* a mac from it. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

    I wish I could, but I have a Maxtor One Touch USB and it can't boot either :(

    Too bad it's not Firewire

    Too bad it's USB 2.0. If it was Firewire I'd probably jump on it, but my Mac doesn't do USB 2.0 and investing in a USB 2.0 add-in card would make the price much less impressive. Oh well, thanks for sharing.

    USB 2.0 card.....are you thinking like $15? Just checking, some people think they are a lot more.
