Someone's trying to scam you!!!

If you get that config (minus the extra RAM) direct from Apple, it's $799. The extra 512MB RAM for that computer is $95.99 from Crucial. That adds up to 895.98. Whoever is offering you this is overcharging by almost $100.

If you get that same config refurb, it will probably be an additional $50 to $150 off! Don't buy from this person!!!

The only thing I can think of, besides them attempting to scam you, is it's actually a superdrive model (burns DVDs too).

I agree with all of this. Except I really doubt it's superdrive, because that has an 80 gig HD standard. Bottom line, this is a rip off.

Great.Oh well Thanks guys for your replies.Is the ibook better then the emac or are they pretty much the same preformance wise.

performance wise, the eMac is much better than the iBook.

on a price/performance basis, the eMac destroys the iBook. portability is nice to have though. so comes down to figuring out your wants/needs.
