I'm looking for a case for my 64Gb iphone 4s.

I'm very interested in the Element Vapor Pro cases, specifically the black/ red spectra, but I'm deterred by the $129.99 price tag. To give you a visualization, you can see the case here.

I have found what looks to be the same case on a different website, for $39.50 with free shipping.

Can anyone offer advice on if this is the same case, or a knockoff? If it is a knockoff, how does it compare quality wise? Also, what are your opinons on the legit Element cases? Are they worth the $?

You both really need to do some research. Look at the colors offered by the site you pointed to.

    Great!

Now look at the colors that Element ACTUALLY offer. Oh..what? They Don't offer all those colors? They must not make them then.

Final answer - THEY ARE FAKE.

That being said, who knows how good they are. Hell, I just ordered the fake Vapor Black Ops variant yesterday for $20.00. Should you buy from this guy? Hell no, go find the same knockoff case for cheaper elsewhere.

I think they are probably fake too, however the same colors are offered on element's website.

I don't understand how the Vapor style cases offer any protection for the iphone. From what I can tell in the pics, the case is nothing more than an aluminum frame which wouldn't do much for shock absorption if it were dropped. Are people getting these cases simply for the look?

Care to share the website you bought it from? Thanks in advance!

there is a gap between the steel frame and the inner part of the case, protected by foam pads. It would absorb shock just fine! They are great cases

You are right. I stand corrected, as I didn't see those offered on their site at first.

However it may be, the thing still is overpriced, as I believe nearly all phone cases are.

    I ordered mine from - http://www.aliexpress.com/product-f...one4-for-iphone4s-metal-case-wholesalers.html

Will be ~2 weeks before it comes in, I'm sure.

Thanks for the link. I actually tried earlier to order from two different sellers on that site with no success. The card was declined for some reason, and of course it's a holiday so I could not contact anyone. I ended up ordering this case for $32. It isn't expected to be delivered for a few weeks so I went ahead and dropped the cash on the blood red/ black element vapor pro from the official website. I didn't want to go that long without a case, and this one should be here by Friday or Saturday. Let me know when you get your black ops case, and your impressions; I might order one at some point.
