Is this possible?

    Would it be possible to rip just the audio from an AVI file and convert it to MP3?

    ya there is option to just save audio in quicktime

    This option is only available in the QT Pro version, right?

    Thats a good question ... i've been upgrading to Pro since version 4 ... so i don't even remember what is in the regular version

    what you don't have 30$ kicking around? LOL

    you know what ... try iMovie to see it it doesn't have the option, that program is like a dremol - a powerful little tool.

    eathier way ... you could check your version of Quicktime ... it's a mac. experimenting won't hurt it ... if your not in root, it won't let you delete anything you need anyway

    try iMovie, try quicktime
