I heard that one old lady played WoW so much that she died. Then there was an online funeral in game. Then a war broke out at the funeral.

    Is WoW for geeks?

Correct answer, you are not a geek. However, WoW, yes, I'd say. Also things that make you more geeky include the WoW Trading Cards, oh, and watching 'Whores of Warcraft' (Go Figure... NWS tho!)

I heard that there is a secret sex club on WoW where sometimes more than 300 people have convened in zombie ifnested areas to have mass gothic-flavoured virtual sex.

No, it's not. There are plenty of geeks in it, but one of the things that makes the game so successful is that 'everybody else' can casually dip into it for a laugh without having to worry about having the best shoulderpads or what enchant they need for their weapon...

Nope, simply for Mac owners. Who can't be geeks, coz we can like make iPhoto albums so easy and, erm, plug our super call Geetars into Garage band and make a mix in seconds. Nope, not geeks.

I heard there was a guy that played WoW so much he forgot about the existance of the material world and his brain actually accepted the warcraft universe as his direct surroundings. The only problem was that his heart rate would soar during the combat scenes, as he thought his life was in direct danger when confronted by an enemy, and eac time he died, in real life, he would suffer a minor heart attack, until eventually he reached level60, entered Molten Core and had a fatal stroke.

He started out WOW as diversion.
But it soon was his life, full immersion.
    He believed he himself
    Was a 60 Night Elf
Who lusted for Gnomes (that's perversion).
