the popular iStat Nano widget now supports intel mac temperature sensors (available at apple's website). CoreTempDuo no longer needed.

my iStat Nano still doesn't read my battery capacity and says 'invalid system' still though...

I still don't get a temperature reading on my MBP... CoreDuoTemp seems to be the only app that can do it out of all the ones I've tried.

i just went to download it, but the last update was in may for the istat nano; i tried the pro and that didn't work; even the core temp duo program doesn't work for me - and my mbp is HOT. I scorched my fingers on the top lip (below the mbp mirror logo), took it to the apple store, and they said it was meant to get that hot - i should expect to be burned! I just wish I knew how hot it was...

I just got it to work, but I had to install this free 3rd party kernel extension first: http://www.increw.com/speedit.html

Installing it also fixes Temperature Monitor
