Long time listener, first time caller :) I'm new to (posting at) MacRumors, but I've been working on Macs for several years now (recent college grad trying to make it in a 3-man graphic design shop).

Just thought I'd say hi. Plus - what's the deal with the weather? I mean, it is August after all - and yes, it's real - but it's Yahoo

Talk about tempature extremes. Swiming one day and snow boarding the next.

Up here in rochester I don't think we've broken 90 yet this summer. I have this feeling it's going to be an awfully coooooolllllldddddd winter.

Heck yah it's cold. I live in Michigan and it hasn't broken 85 the whole dang summer. Most of the time it's hovered around 70. Last week I was camping with a bunch of friends. It never broke 70 degrees, and it rained every day. One friend is from the south (Greenville, TN and more recently St. Louis, MO) and he had never been north of southern Illinois before. We all kept telling him that, "Really, this weather isn't normal, it's usually a lot nicer than this..."
    Yup. There's my story.

It has been a less hot summer here in DFW. We have only had one 100 degree day. Not that bad for down here...

It's been in the low 90s Fahrenheit mostly during the summer, although in spring, we had some near 100 degrees F weather.

It's good that the temperature hasn't risen this week for all those workers making repairs and cleaning up hurricane damage.

It hasn't been cold in Phoenix, that's for sure. :( I do think we're a few degrees under the average though.
