I'm on a Power Computing 180 with a 300 g3 card and a bunch of weird guts. Runs fine but i'm being left behind. I've bounced from heel to heel for the last three years on a new mac [don't worry steve, we have two other apple machines in the family...imac and ibook]. For what i do, I don't think I'll be waitning for another year for the 970 just to see if all my software needs upgrading or that the bugs [if any] will need to be sorted. My dream machine?
The 1.42 with dual 180GB drives, superdrive a new disc-tatoo yamaha burner internal, 2GB RAM yadda yadda. Besides, if this one lasts as long as my currnt one, I'll be getting a new machine when they look nothing like they do now. No more stress.
