Just noticed after I installed Lion that every time I open up iTunes, it asks me for my password, is that a bug or is that the way iTunes will behave? I don't see where I can turn it off (the asking me for my password when I open iTunes). Thanks for any info in advance.

It doesn't do that for me.
Check the 'Store' pane in iTunes preferences. It may be checking for downloads or pre-orderes.
