I have a beautiful Ruby Red G3 400 that originally had 64mg of memory and was running OS 9. I have since upgraded the memory to 192, and the OS to 9.2 to 10.1 and OS X Jaguar. I recently was able to move from dial up to high speed and started receiving automatic daily software update opportunities. One one of these opportunities I was able to go from iTunes 3 to iTunes 4. When I had downloaded and installed iT4, my entire library of mp3's was gone. This is over 100 songs, not a lot, but a bunch of songs that I might never find again. I have searched the computer for the files but they seem to have just vanished. I've even changed the startup disk and checked the old OS's,as the mp3's were created in OS 9. Is there anything I can do?

Run a program like UnErase to see if your songs haven't yet been overwritten. You might even be able to get the songs back.
